Booger on Your Nose
This is another illustration, cartoon for True Stories. True Stories was/is a one panel strip i was trying to develop for Universal Press Syndicate (they said no:)). I spent a year in Kansas City drawing and working at a newspaper. What would you say if i told you i loved you. You've got a booger on your nose. True love at a Westport Coffee shop in Kansas City.
In this toon, two pigeons watch in passing as a couple spells out an honest approach to love in KCMO. Coffee is involved and everyone has a nice time.
In the coffee shop, a poster of cats hangs on the wall. The couple is sitting at a booth in front of the coffee shop window. Both have cups of coffee with them. The girl is holding her cup, the boy has his hand up in conversation.
